The past few months have been mental, in a personal sense as well as a musical sense.
To start off with, in the beginning of April my wife and I welcomed a baby girl into our family and the world. Fatherhood has been so rewarding but certainly not very easy. I have been forced to be extremely economical with my time – in fact, I’m bouncing her to sleep as I write this. It has been a joyous season for us.
Musically speaking, I’ve been presented with some cool opportunities to play a number of different festivals and events such as the Lilac Festival, Inglewood Night Market, and the Calgary Chinese Baptist stampede breakfast. All of which have gone exceptionally well.
I’m playing next in Sylvan Lake at Timber on the 11th of August and am starting to book into the fall. Would love to see you at a show before the year wraps up!
